On Saturday we were very pleased to be invited by Glasgow Chinese School to the Press Launch of their new Multicultural Centre on Roystonhill.

The former Rosemount Primary School building had been our Business Centre, the Millburn Centre for 35 years. However, it had been sitting vacant since November 2021 and was finally put on the market for sale by the landlord City Property, with ownership of the building transferring to the Glasgow Chinese School in February 2025.

On Saturday 24th May 2025 we were delighted to welcome the new owners to the community of Royston, and very impressed by the work they have already put into renovating the building – which had been affected by severe weather earlier this year (see attached photos).

The Head Teacher Sam Chau, and senior staff, gave us a tour, and thanked RDT’s Managing Director Maureen Flynn and Community Development Officer Andy Cuthbertson for their continued support.
