We are delighted to have secured £40,000 from GCC’s ‘Vacant and derelict Land’ Fund.The funds, awarded by the Scottish Government, and administered through Glasgow City Council’s Vacant and Derelict Land Fund will be used to carry out a feasibility study/site investigation into short, medium, and longer-term use of the Provanhill Street site.
This gives the community in Royston the opportunity to explore the long-term ambition for this area, and to think about what uses they would like to see, alongside any development.
Rosemount Development Trust (RDT) has commissioned Kevin Murray Associates (KMA) to lead this work. Over the coming weeks, KMA will be asking for community ideas for the site.
Alongside this RDT are also funding a study on Royston Road. There have been ideas in the past about how to make more of our shops and services and to continue the regeneration work.
